This is because a digital twin provides an immersive, interactive, and dimensionally-accurate digital replica of a physical space. This offers a lot of flexibility as digital twins enable buyers to have a self-directed (live) experience of the space, which is the closest possible alternative to seeing a property in person. Matterport CAD File
The CAD file is an additional deliverable you can purchase after you have scanned a Space and uploaded it to your Matterport account. The files you receive can be easily imported into a variety of CAD software.
Included in all Matterport CAD File packages are:
.DWG AutoCAD file compatible to CAD 2020 .DXF file (exported from .DWG) .PDF set of images. 1 for each of the included floor plans .RCS (Point Cloud File and Support folder) .CTB AutoCAD plot styles file (CAD printing standards)
In addition to the above, if you select Electrical in your ordering options, you get:
- .PDF set of images. In addition to the PDFs for each of the included floor plans, when Electrical is ordered you also get a .PDF set of images for reflective ceiling plans.
- The Matterport CAD File is for those who work in the AEC space (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction), specifically the following:

How long does it take to scan a typical home?
Generally, it takes about two hours to scan a 2000 sq. ft. space. But it can vary giving furishings, staircases, ambient and natural lighting, and outside scans.

How long will I wait for the digital twin?
You should to expect 24 hours. It will be a iframe for your website and still pictures if you require.

Can I keep my digital twin?
The answer is two parts.
The 3D walk-thru is encoded on a propriatary rendering engine, and the file remains on our leased server and is rendered to your website through an iframe. You have up to 1 (one) year to showcase your property and an opportunity to extend hosting at $75/year.
We can offer up to 25 still photos for free of charge.

How can I change the width and length of the iframe?
The ratio of the iFrame is 4:3. Your iFrame can be changed to any ratio that fits your webpage. Here are some px ratios you can use:
